We know who our daughter is!!

This beauty is ours! We do not have words for the feelings of great love and joy we have for this little darling girl. OUR daughter. We are thinking of her constantly... getting very little sleep and longing to hold her in our arms and kiss those perfect lips.

Mae's first gift

When we first decided to start the adoption process we told very few people. The people that we did share our news with overwhelmed us with their love and encouragement. One of the most special days was when we recieved a small package in the mail from dear friends. Enclosed was this gorgeous blanket for Mae... it was her first physical thing that made it seem more real and it brought us to tears. We could hardly believe that we might actually have a daughter to wrap up in this.

We picked our agency, requested an application and got busy. There were references to get and pages of questions. Now that's all finished and we are mailing everything off!
